  • I like to provide both candid and posed portraits. I have various prompts to get you moving naturally in front of the camera as well as more directed poses so you get all the photos you’re looking for in one gallery. If you’re looking for more candid rather than posed or vice versa, just let me know!

    As for editing, I do not alter bodies or faces in drastic ways (besides touching up blemishes, stray hairs, etc). I believe in capturing you, as you are, in the moment naturally.

  • You can book with me right here on my website. I keep all of my availability up to date up to 3 months in advance. If you’re looking for a date further than 3 months in the future, just shoot me an email and I will be happy to discuss with you if that date is available or not.

    All sessions require a 50% non-refundable retainer to be made in order to reserve your date and time.

    I work on a first come first serve basis, your date and time are not reserved until the deposit is made and agreement is signed.

  • I guarantee you will get your gallery sent to you no later than 2 weeks from the day of your session. Although I work hard to get them to you sooner if I can, you have the option to purchase expedited editing that puts you at the top of my editing list.

  • Your online gallery, provided by Pic Time, is a private website where all of your photos will be placed for you and your family members to see and share. It also has a secure checkout that will allow you to purchase prints, albums, and additional products. You will also receive a download option with a PIN I will provide. You can begin downloading the second you receive your gallery!

  • You will have access to your online gallery for 30 days before it expires. I HIGHLY recommend downloading all of your images so that you will always have them. I will archive your edited photos for 6 months thereafter.

  • I do not provide RAW (unprocessed) photos or unedited images because I believe in delivering what you pay for….beautiful, carefully finished photos.

  • Absolutely! I am happy to work with you and make sure you get what you’re looking for!

  • Absolutely! I love animals and think they add extra magic to family portraits. We can work together on choosing a location that allows them. I recommend that an extra friend comes along to keep your pet company for when we are not having them join you for a few photos.

  • It happens! If you are running late and still planning on making it to the session, please understand that if you have scheduled a 60 minute session and come 20 minutes late, that you will only have a 40 minute session.

    If we need to reschedule due to rain, we will work out a new date and/or time together. If we’re unable to find a new date and time that works for both of us, I will refund your deposit.

    I do not reschedule or refund for clouds or fog (it is such a classic backdrop for our area anyways!). I do build in wiggle room for time so if we need to adjust the time within an hour or so of the original booking, this is typically possible so long as we’re in communication about it.

    If you need to reschedule due to change in your plans, you will forfeit your original retainer and need to make a new reservation and place a new retainer for your new desired date and time.

    If you need to cancel, I require at least 48 hours in advance to be refunded 50% of your total session cost (reminder: the 50% retainer to hold your session date and time in non-refundable). Unfortunately you will not get a refund if you give less than 24 hours notice. No exceptions.

  • Trust me when I say that I will do everything in my power to be at your session. IF something does come up, I will be in contact with you and we will reschedule at your next, earliest available time/date or your deposit will be refunded if we cannot mutually find a reasonable rescheduled date and time.

  • Yes I am! If your venue requires proof of insurance I am happy to provide it. Just let me know!

  • When it comes time to ordering prints, albums, and other products from your online gallery, I offer a 20% discount for all items purchased within 7 days of the gallery being delivered.
